I hate to say it, but let’s face it, summer is ending (fast), so what no better time to really to indulge. Get that $9 ice cream, use up all those vacation days, get tipsy every night, order that burger and fries instead of cooking. Get that pair of shoes you’ve eyed all summer. DO IT ALL. (Within reason—don’t overdo it, you still have that mortgage to pay end of the month). As all other Danes, I like burning those candles. Here are a few that are just right for making the best summer ever last a little longer:

Personal Fav: *
I am sure I am not the only one burning this one on a regular basis. It is s an aristocratic scent, at once gentle, smoky and leathery, that will fill your space and give it true personality. And amazing! I burn this a bit sparingly to make it last, it’s on the pricey side.
A true campfire: *
This sophisticated blend of rare woods recalls the crackling of an open fire. Warm and familiar during the winter days.
Takes me right to LA:
Wildflower is a combination of jasmine, gardenia and rose geranium and just catapult me straight back into my LA garden.
Clean sheets: *
This one’s a little more nuanced than most candles. It is very subtle, almost like the smell of fresh clean airdried sheets.
Mysteriously sensual: *
It’s become my sexy candle. I don’t know why, but it’s like that playlist you put on the stereo when you are in the mood. This candle definitely lights up a fire… if you know what I mean.
I would like a jumbo size, please: *
Yup. Paia Copenhagen can’t do wrong in my book. I think you could buy anything from them—they’re all good choices. This one’s particularly lovely, the combo reminds me of a Hamman I visited years ago in Dubai and apparently the note helps inflammation in your body during a flu, so mega win win. And I like that.
Reliable and versatile:
Room-filling and sophisticated smelling. Which is exactly what you want a candle to be.
