Recreating Iconics From Kähler

Even though I unfortunately cannot attend the showing and release of the new Kähler collection, as I am boarding my flight flying home to Copenhagen after 5 weeks in Cape Town, surely I can spread some love. I know you are going to appreciate this one.

For a very long time I have been hungered for Kähler to update their image pictures, from a late 00’s style to a more modern and recent. This finally came with the new 2017 collection. Among my favorite of the many news from are the Hammershøi teapot, the Unico collection in new and updated pastel colors and the recreation of the iconic “Sparedyr” (piggy banks).

With a 175-year old history it is great to see that Kähler also finds inspiration in their great historic collections and still, so many years after, still can find objects that fits in with todays modern interior.
