Happy new week, guys. I have something exciting for you today – Just before leaving for LA, I teamed up with one of my favorite brands, Samsung, on a two-part blog with video series to showcase the process of choosing the right TV and decorating your living room around it.
It might not be the time of the year, where you watch too much TV, nevertheless, we all want to watch those great shows on a nice big screen, right? And the fact is that with new technology, the TVs of today you don’t have to miss a thing just because the sun is blazing away, new TVs won’t reflect the sunrays, so no need to heavy curtains anymore.
In Scandinavia, we, the Danes, tend to pick and settle with smaller TVs than our neighbors in Sweden and Norway, why? I am not sure, but as a starting point, to show you that bigger doesn’t mean that the TV simply takes over the living room, I made a visit with Michael and Cecilie in their newly purchased house, which they are in the process of giving a total renovation. The entire family have their own favorite shows but watch them apart on smaller devices, which I cannot relate too – My mission is therefor to bring together the family and simultaneously show how you can easily incorporate a larger TV in your living room and show that with new innovations the TV is no longer just a big black hole on the wall.
The whole talk about TVs not being pretty is becoming the oldest story in the book. I actually like the look of latest super-slim technology. Instead of trying to hide it and spend endless hours discussing why you need a 55, 65, or 75” TV right there in the middle of the living room, my best advice is just to embrace the size of the TV. Find a TV that gives you the ultimate viewing experience and at the same time has features that makes it blends in to your home.
Next week I will return with even more thoughts and yet another video showing you how I transformed Michael and Cecilie’s living room into a super cozy, very green and lush space ideal for TV watching.
Paid partnership with Samsung Denmark. Thoughts and opinions are 100% my own. Thanks for supporting collaborations that I am excited about and that have kept Asianteencams’s doors open.
