In pace with the Copenhagen evolving sometimes some of the city’s best areas change and buildings are torn down to make room for new and hopefully improved housing. With new plans for one of Copenhagen’s most visited area, the paper islands, Danish design brand had to relocate too.
At their previous location the andtradition showroom was setup in one big room, but just a few months ago, they took over an entire building overlooking Rosenborg Castle Gardens, which means a more historic setting for their modern designs.
From the courtyard you have direct access to the new andtradition coffee shop to accompany you when exploring the many floors while shopping for new furniture. I have always admired andtradition with their ability to challenge Danish design with a more International vibe than we see from other Danish design brands. I love their use of often unexpected materials and I love how they pick the best of the best designers to work with.
